Well, I'm managing to get 23 about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time now, which is a significant increase in score. Also got 25 today, and am improving with some of the others. 38(?), the one with the three lemons up top and the three oranges down below is proving more difficult than it seems like it should be, though.

Is there a web site anywhere that shows diagrams explaining things like "if your bomb goes off here, the enemy will slide along this path"? It seems like if an enemy is moving fast enough, it rebounds off the sides of platforms and goes back the other direction on the next level. But if it isn't going that fast, it continues in the direction it was going before after falling.

It would be especially useful to know how to set off a bomb that will freeze the fruit in place, without making it move at all. I think that's done by exploding one directly over its head. Is that correct?

Have a look on this website : Here

You'll be able to find here everything you want to know about each level.

There are videos, comments and tips.

Of course the website isn't translated in English but if you need help you can take my mail adress and ask me whatever you want :)

Sorry, but I already knew about that web site long before I started posting questions here. :) Even though that site has videos for many boards, watching one other person get the large crystal isn't always enough to help me figure out how to get it on my own.

I figure a good grasp of the 'physics' of freezing enemies would help out quite a bit. But I haven't seen that sort of information anywhere. I suppose experimentation on the low level boards is as good a way as any to learn it.

If think there's no such thing as a tutorial for " physics " of freezing...

The best you can do is to learn to manage it on the " Practice mode "...

I can give you one tip : If your bomb is far away from the fruit, the frozen fruit will move slowly.

Try to use this technic perfectly and you'll be able to make large crystals easily.

It's not impossible that a topic take form in a few weeks that could bring you some answers...:innocent:

But the best way to make it is trying on your own. ;) To start, you can entertain yourself in the Learning mode.

I pay a swing to the one who succeed in freezing a fruit on place with the blue bomb ! 8O

That was weird. I just played a game where at about board 28 Igor suddenly started acting like I always had the left arrow pressed. If I wasn't pushing anything, he'd go left. Made things pretty difficult. But the arrow key was behaving normally outside of the game.

Cosmic rays or something, I guess.

Cosmic rays or something, I guess.

I've no explanation to give to this... arrow key problem  . So, your last idea must be the right one :D

I also say again that's I'm still looking for an English friend, that could help me in English by speaking or mailing...
Thanks.
